In the past River Cruising may have been thought of as something only for the older generations. But with the River Cruises of the European Christmas Markets that has been changing, and now Adventures by Disney's 2021 offerings look incredible!

Adventures by Disney sails with AmaWaterways, a luxury river cruise line. These are all-inclusive vacations designed by family travel experts at Disney. You will have Adventure Guides who combine active and immersive experiences to give you an authentic experience in each destination along with Disney's signature incredible customer service.
ABD is offering 30 sailings along four European rivers: the Danube, Rhine, Rhone and Seine.
You can do these with your children OR you can take advantage of the adult-exclusive sailings offered for guests 18 years and older that are offered on select sailings. (And include excursions and themes geared toward adults - like Oktoberfest).
Danube River sailings visit eight destinations in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. You'll get to explore medieval ruins, cross treetop rope bridges and see the hills from The Sound of Music! (Everyone knows where I'll be this winter!)

Rhone River vacations go through the south of France and bring guests to Provence. Excursions include an art workshop inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, a private truffle-hunting experience and tasting, and kayaking beneath a 2,000-year-old Roman aqueduct.
(I'm SO there for the Provence and art workshop, but not sure if I'm brave enough to kayak beneath the Roman aqueduct. Anyone out there who is braver than me who wants to try it and report back?)
Seine River cruises celebrate rural France with visits to provincial towns, the beaches of Normandy, Monet’s House and Gardens, the cliffs of Etretat, and Paris.
