Should I be traveling right now?

Updated: Jan 21, 2021

At the risk of sounding like the newest cliché in our vernacular - this is actually unprecedented in our healthcare system and in the travel and tourism industry - and there are NO "shoulds."

Here is the ONLY thing I know with 100% certainty - you need to be comfortable and happy while vacationing! Travel should be what you want it to be - and I kind of doubt "anxiety provoking" is the vibe you want for your next vacation. 😬

So - if you're feeling anxious about it then my advice is - wait until you're sure you will feel safe, comfortable, and HAPPY traveling.

As a responsible, ethical travel advisor sometimes I must advise my clients NOT to travel. This is heartbreaking, but my hope is that we can follow CDC guidelines, come up with a vaccine and/or treatment, recover our health and economy, and travel abroad as soon as possible.

What if I have to (or want to) travel - How do I make it happen?

Well - it depends on your destination. There's a wide range there, too. Traveling is going to take patience, research, and flexibility.

The Maldives, for example, has zero travel restrictions right now (with no visa restrictions!) but, as you've probably heard, the EU recently banned travelers from the US.

If you know you want to or need to travel - let me know, and together we'll figure out the best, safest way to get you where you need to be.

For those of you who are waiting - you can join me in working on our bucket lists and vision boards!

We'll have a pretty awesome list ready to go when the time is right!

My newest addition to the list - does anyone know where this is??
